PUBG wants to add more utility/support items to the game, what would you like to see?

In the latest roadmap for PUBG (https://pubg.com/en/news/7082), they've indicated that they're putting some focus onto adding more utility/support items to the game, such as bringing back repair kits and potentially portable ziplines.

What are some interesting and possibly unique items and gameplay mechanics would you be interested in seeing in the future? I have a few ideas of my own but I'd be curious to hear what you guys think!

  • Combat Boots - Similar to helmets and vests, these items can be equipped and will reduce fall damage and shorten the recovery time from falling (or one or the other).
  • Combat Gloves - Same as above, they could be equipped and increase vaulting speed, perhaps also having an effect on the handling of guns ever so slightly?
  • Anti-Smoke Grenade - Unsure of a better name for it, but I imagine it would have a similar rarity to Blue Zone Grenades and would simply be thrown and cause the any smokes in the vicinity to clear much faster.
  • Landmine - Similar to C4, it would be a rare spawn with a high weight. Landmines could be placed in a spot with a long planting animation, followed by a delay so that the planter wouldn't trigger it by mistake. They would still be partially visible, but allow for strategies such as placing them in doorways or around corners (they can't be thrown). You would be able to destroy it by shooting it from range or perhaps there could be a way to disarm them once they've already activated, so long as you react and don't step off it before doing so. I'm a little sceptical about this idea as I anticipate it causing frustration but if balanced around rarity, weight, visibility and planting time, could be used in interesting ways.
(Edit: After some thought and some insightful comments, landmines would be problematic and unfun to play into so I've mostly changed my mind on the idea of their implementation. I have decided to leave it here though for context purposes.)

The latter is definitely the more controversial idea but regardless, these are just a few ideas off the top of my head. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts and own ideas!

Edit: It's actually really depressing to see so much hate over something that's meant to be a chill discussion and a place for sharing ideas. Of course there will be bad ideas, what people enjoy is subjective, that's why it's a discussion. Really goes to show that some player bases are monstrously toxic and spend too much time raging about a game they clearly hate. A big thanks to all the people that actually made an effort to engage with this post maturely!

It isn't purists, it's people who understand that these ideas just suck....

This isn't fortnite, Apex, COD....its a Mod of DayZ, which is a mod of a military simulator...let's not cartoon up the game more than it has been
