Anticipating MLTRs "marking their territory" on my Facebook wall
Post Body

Been applying Blackdragon's advice to create MLTR non-monogamous relationships with success so far.

I currently have two MLTRs. I have been seeing MLTR One for about 6 months. She survived "The Talk" and everything is good. We have been Facebook friends pretty much the whole time.

I have been seeing MLTR Two for about 4 months. She is starting to press for exclusivity. I know not to have "The Talk" with her about non-monogamy until she is really demanding an answer. We haven't been friends on Facebook up until now. Recently, she started saying we should be Facebook friends and added me.

I think refusing to be Facebook friends with her could become a big issue and create unnecessary problems, so I should probably go along with it.

There are currently no Facebook posts or pictures of me and MLTR One, so that's good. Here's the issue: I'm concerned that either MLTR One or MLTR Two will start "marking their territory" in terms of posting on my wall and tagging me in pictures on Facebook. I don't think allowing these types of posts to appear on my page is a good idea, as it will definitely create unnecessary drama. However, when I don't allow them, I'm sure they will complain and sense my reason for not allowing it. The only thing I can think of to deal with this is either:

  1. If it becomes an issue, I'll just unfriend them on Facebook. When they go a few weeks of no complaints, I'll re-add them.
  2. Soft next if the drama gets too bad

I'm also considering creating two separate Facebook friend lists: one of MLTR One and her friends and one of MLTR Two and her friends. And trying to manage it that way. Possibly showing/hiding posts depending on who is in them. But that feels like a big hassle, trying to keep everything straight.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
