Game stuck at 8/41 when booting

Ptcgl has been doing this on my laptop for a few months now, It works fine on my phone however. Any body else having this issue where when booted up, ptcgl will open just as normal, get stuck at 8/41 and then go black and restart from 0. Seen others having similar issues, but no solutions. I had contacted Pokemon via customer service and they were no help
