Has anybody tried not eating sugar?

I believe that PSSD comes from a bad gut biome.. somehow the increased serotonin or maybe just the chemcisls inside the pills themselves created a bad gut.
Im looking for ways to make my gut health better. I wonder if stopping the consumation of sugar helps to make a better gut? So has anybody tried that?
