I bought the DQI-K set-top box from Amazon with the sole intent of streaming my PS4, but when I tried PSPlay it connected and input was working but all I got was a black screen. The only thing I could get to actually display anything was when I put it in software rendering mode, in which case I could sort of see the screen but it was all incredibly glitchy and laggy with artifacts.
(Everything is connected to the LAN via Ethernet and I've used the official PS Remote app on my iPad over WiFi and been able to stream at full quality as if I were in front of the TV, so I don't believe there's a connectivity issue here or anything.)
Is there a trick to getting it to work, and if not, is there a set-top box that PSPlay is supported on?
