PSP turns off by its self

So i hadnt used my modded psp since the end of january when i took it with me on vacation to watch movies on. So I charged it over night and brought it with me on my current trip to watch movies with. Well, about 10-15 minuets into the movie it shut off. I thought i mistakenly shut it off so i turned it back on, loaded up the movie and then same thing happened. Not sure if this has been posted before. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
