sooo I downloaded the NGS beta

and now I whenever I press Start Game on the base game, regular PSO2, all it does is open an internet explorer browser for gameguard for what I'm assuming is error code 114.
I've never had any issues before so I'm asking here for something that may help. All the googling I did only sent me to links dating back to 2014.
