Looking for PS4 game buddies

I’m female and I used to love playing video games when I was a teenager. It’s been now a very long time since I played one (I’m 33 years old now, even though I can’t believe it yet!). I’m thinking if I should start playing games again. I have a PS4 and would like to find buddies in the US with who I can play games together as I find it more fun.
