Questions about ECF (I've read the Megathread)
Post Body

So I was already consolidated into Direct loans from Fedloan when they announced this program last October. That started my repayment clock in 2018. I have been at my current qualifying employer since 2016. I submitted the waiver paperwork December 15 and just this week, got updated counts from Fedloan, but only for up until 2018 when I consolidated. (I am waiting on ED review). I was having trouble getting the signature of the previous employer that would cover the years of 2013-2016, but was finally able to get that ECF submitted today. I also worked for a qualifying employer years ago out of undergrad, (were talking 08-09), where I made payments. But the company no longer exists, I cant find the EIN number and the IRS website does not have my old W2.

Here are my questions:

  1. Did I completely screw up my ED review by submitting another ECF so far after initially submitting my initial waiver? Especially after Fedloan updated my payment?
  2. Can/Should I submit an ECF for the employment back from 08-09 and if so. how do I go about doing that?
  3. Am I still going to be eligible for the payments made before consolidation, even though I consolidated before the program existed?

Thanks everyone. This group has been amazing!
