FedEx signature required?

So FedEx says it out for delivery today but Iām not home- my wife and mother in law are because we have a baby but if they miss the delivery will they leave it even though it says signature required? I live in a house not an apartment building or anything. Nothing I can do on the app to waive the signature I did say leave at door though. Did FedEx require a signature for you? Iām in NY state
