Dualsense not charging properly?

Hello everyone,
Might have run into my first issue. Plugged my Dualsense in this morning hit the ps button confirmed it was charging went back to playing and then after an hour tried unplugging it and it immediately showed a low battery notification.
I am using the included cable with the front USB port. Is anyone else having this issue? Any trouble shooting suggestions?
