Do flecks stack?

Apologies if this is a super obvious question but I cant seem to find an answer anywhere even in tutorials. If I had a fleck to an object and decide to go with a different selection on my imp and add it to whatever i was working on do they mix? Or does the newer fleck I chose replace?
I know it should be easy to tell by looking at it but I'm super new to this. Have had the game for maybe 6 days.
