Snowballed is my first game attempt and i need some help with the logic of my core mechanics plzzzzz I'm so frustrated.
Post Body

Essentially I'm trying to find a way to increase the size of a snowball character as the player moves it down the course. Score will be determined by the size of the snowball when they reach the end if they don't die by running into obstacles which should decrease the size with each collision. 3 collisions and they blow up like a snowball hitting something.

Do I put it all on a surface snapped microchip?

Detect if it's moving and how fast

Then I guess use those values to determine rate and size of increase somehow?

I'm struggling with how to handle the resizing of the character should it be increased by animation and if so how do I avoid it's placement within the scene being recorded and just capture the increase in its scale and trigger zone ?

I'd like the player to gradually get bigger and faster the longer they make it without a collision as the score will be determined by how big they are when they reach the end.

(they are only able to roll downhill once they start) which is my biggest issue so far. Ive made small scenes and been experimenting with what I'm learning As I've been constantly watching and playing tutorials and I'm just stuck :(

Shout out u/Tapgiles btw been an absolute lifesaver so far ty so much.

EDIT I just saw his snowball tutorial and I'm still having some trouble but my brain might just be fried at this point.
