Final fantasy 7 remake was a major let down

Post Body

I just finished playing FF7 remake a month ago but hadn't found a good spot to post about it where others might respond so here it goes.

I hated certain mechanics in the game, specifically relating to the ATB bar(s) and how integrated it is into every little thing. I get needing it to pull off like an ability but why is it needed for items or to cast spells, especially when you also need the mana for spells already. There were way too many big battles I was legit just running around trying to get the damn thing up. I dont get why they keep trying to reinvent the wheel when they have two great mechanics from previous great games, FF12 & FF15. Does anyone else feel the same?
