Old ps4 HDMI problem in ps4!

The TV connected to ps4 cuts out a lot. I tried switching hdmi cable and did not get a reception at all. I tried this with two cables but no reception. So I tried cleaning the port on the TV and ps4 an reconnecting the original ps4 HDMI cable. The problem still persists. Not sure why other HDMI cables don't work at all. Has anyone had similar issues. Thanks
