PS4 Pro fan starts running really hard when in the menu of one specific game?

Darksiders Warmastered Edition. This is the only game I've experienced this with. When I'm actually playing the game it sounds fine. But when I'm in the menu of all places I hear the fan working the hardest it ever has in its life. This is bizarre. Anybody ever experience anything like this? I clean the fan and heatsink every month or two, and it really shouldn't be struggling this much with a remastered PS3 game.
