LOU2 Cant Play without updating

Hey guys, I am on my second playthrough going for the platinum. I was excited to hear a new update came out yesterday. I inserted the disc and it as usual started the download. But it doesn't let me play the.game without updating. It doesnt show the usual continue without updating in the bottom. Any ideas? I wonder if it has to do with me rebuilding the database the other day.
