New Controller Problems

As the title states, I'm having some problems with my controller that I purchased back in April or May. Does anyone else seem to have a problem with audio crackling while using a 3.5mm headset? I thought it was my headset going out, but it turns out it's my 3.5mm Jack on my controller, and it only gets temporarily fixed by me moving the bake connector around or unplugging and replugging it.
Any advice would be much appreciated
