Trying to set up a VPN on my laptop, and have it run through ethernet to PS4 (Not working. Need help)

I have an ethernet cable running into my laptop from the router, and an ethernet cable running out to the PS4. I have looked at youtube videos and text guides. I can get internet to go through, but once I turn on PureVPN, my PS4 either doesn't detect the new ip address, or gets no internet. I have tried my desktop, and my other PS4, and 3 total vpns, and still can't figure it out.

Anyone techy enough to give me a step by step guide on how you did it? Been trying for days, and FIFA 14 on PS4 requires a VPN to get a few of the online trophies.
