Bought the PS3 version of Destiny guardian edition, and now can't get it switched to ps4 :(

So I accidentally bought the ps3 version of the digital guardian edition, and now Sony won't switch my preorder to the ps4 version. I know my stupid mistake, but I was excited to buy it and now apparently in screwed. So does anyone know if there is a possible way for me to get it switched over to ps4 version? The chat guy told me to wait until release and ask for a refund then. But that would mean no beta for me...
Update: so I called their phone number and the guy on the phone said he'll open a case for a refund as this was an exceptional case. Fingers crossed!
