Backwards compatibility and the PlayStation store?

360 owner here, but I'm really considering the PS4.
One thing that would big for me is access to the games on the PS2 library. I understand the PS4 is not backwards compatible, but I'm guessing you can buy previous titles on the cloud store.
I've never seen the PS3 store so I'm not sure what the prices are like, I'm just not interested in paying rip off prices.
