I posted this thread in the ps5 subreddit and got a torrent of abuse and then the post was removed because if too many complaints!

I honestly cannot believe it. Someone there mentioned that the ps4 subreddit is more tolerant.

All I’m saying is I don’t want to run for a bit and then watch a 5 minute cut scene almost constantly, I prefer games like BOTW and Elden Ring where there’s enough dialogue and cut scenes to move the narrative along but mostly you are actually playing the game.

I get that some people really like the narrative aspect but does nobody agree that modern games seem to have cut scene overload?
