PS3 back compat has a disc issue

Disc goes almost all the way in (you can still see a little bit of it) and drive sounds as if itās spinning up (even before I insert the disc). It almost seems to me that something is stuck inside. Any help is appreciated. Iām really hoping this isnāt a āreplace the whole consoleā situation, but any help at all is appreciated.
