For the last 6-8 weeks, I've been running a Performance Max campaign for a client. In that time, the ROAS was between $2.5-5X. This past week, it tanked to .44X, so it may be time to make some slight adjustments there. Clicks, impressions and CTR have stayed consistent, but conversions totally stopped for 3 solid days, which has never happened before.
As an advertiser, I understand that some weeks will be good or bad because we can't entirely control consumer behavior, but in my experience, most clients are reactionary over any dip in results from week to week. Tomorrow I have a weekly report that will be sent out to the client. If any of you have any recommendations on what to say or possible solutions, I'm all ears. Thanks!
