I get paid $15 to manage an entire company’s email marketing which consists of around 54% of sales. I’m apart of all the big boy meetings and I develop all of their content.
I just got an offer for 60-65k a year if I just go to Manhattan and do exactly what I’m doing now for another company. So at least I know im worth more than this.
The problem is that I’m kind of sick of the emails, I want to learn PPC badly, but I’m unfamiliar with any best resources. Also I enjoy the creative aspects of my job. Most of these companies want on paper experience but I can’t practice PPC unless I run a fake mini business myself and I can’t do that without an advertising budget. I get paid McDonald’s pay.
Should I be looking for PPC jobs right now, or should I switch over to this, make the extra cash, run my own mini business, and then find jobs in PPC? I just don’t want to seem like a job hopper on my resume. Also I hate how this process is so fucking slow. Im 25 and im miserable with where my career is at right now. I feel like I should be more than this
