I've been mulling over what to post or re-share today. I had plans to record something new, but circumstances (and noise) are not cooperating! So I thought I would share a song I just recorded for Backstage. It also happens my second cake day is on Friday, and I have the feels something fierce. What will the next year bring? How many of us will still be here...?

June is Pride month, and the theme on this month's GWA Backstage Singers Challenge is “Pride / Independence / Dreams / Freedom.” As such, I pledged to sing “Beautiful” and “Imagine.” Now that I've read and re-read the lyrics in order to perform them — I'm realizing they pretty much encapsulate my intention for being in this space.
