Is your heart rate supposed to drop back down in none POTS?
Post Body

I have Classical Eds and being investigated by a cardiologist due to palpitations. I've had a 72 hour holter monitor and stress test awaiting results. I get slightly dizzy when standing and can feel my heart beating when I first stand up. Apart from that I don't think I have any other symptoms of POTS. I purchased a oximeter and my sitting heart rate is around 72. On standing it rises to around 100 so just below the 30bpm criteria. It then drops only slightly. I was under the impression it should fall back down to the same bpm as when I'm sitting?
