Dental surgery, going under? Will my POTS be an issue?

I'm getting oral surgery in an hour (medically necessary, , unfortunately) and I'm absolutely quaking with anxiety over this. I've never been under the knife before, and the last time I was put under for anything, I was, like, 5 (funnily enough, that was also a dental visit). I told the dentist about my POTS, but I have no idea if he knew or understood what I was talking about?

Realistically, I probably won't see anyone's answers until I'm done and home (and drugged up beyond belief), but I still want some reassurance that I'm just crazy and paranoid about things going wrong because of my POTS...
