Sodium vs salt
Post Body

I'm a little confused with the guidelines recommending more salt.

For example 6 to 10 grams a day - is this only sodium, or salt (sodium chloride)? When I take a salt tablet, do I count that as 215mg (only sodium), or 564mg (sodium and chloride)? Do others such as potassium or magnesium count?

Thanks in advance from a pots newbie.
