Getting ready to take a stroll down the rogue next week. Not really planning on moving fast, 5 or 6 days to explore the main 40 miles of the trail.

Curious if you guys had an tips or things to look out for, day hikes off the trail maybe, cautionary tales?

I’m mostly curious about the Foster bar campground, doesn’t look like they have a host till May. I currently travel on a motorcycle and my idea is that I leave the bike at Foster and catch a ride with a friend back to graves creek. Obviously nothing valuable would be left on the bike, but I am concerned about the actual bike getting stolen. Has vehicle theft ever been a problem in the area? Am I over thinking this?

The shuttles are expensive if they even run right now and I’d much rather have my own transpo at the end of this.
