Hi everyone,
I started a website [ my monthly monster ](www.mymonthlymonster.com) that centers around the stories (bad, good, horrible, scary and supportive) about our lives with PMDD. I do not believe there is enough knowledge about PMDD out in the world - as far as how common it is, the symptoms, and who to speak to that is knowledgeable to help.
I was hoping some of you would be interested in sharing your story about your life with pmdd so we can get more awareness. I developed pmdd after I gave birth after surviving ppd for example. My story is not like most others. Stories about symptoms, about how you vanquished your monster, how you live with your partner, how you spoke to your doctor, etc. You can submit anonymously or with your own name.
I want those you are just discovering this disorder to realize they are not alone or crazy. I don’t want anyone getting misdiagnosed like I was. I don’t want anyone to feel ashamed of their feelings every month and I certainly want the symptom of suicidal thoughts and rage to be more well known then it is. I suffer from those symptoms and it scares me.
This community made me feel so welcomed and safe and I want to create that community on my site.
TL:DR I created a website [My Monthly Monster](www.mymonthlymonster.com) where people can share their stories about pmdd to raise awareness and lend support to others.
Thanks Anna
