When I am in my 7-10 day window for my period, my PMDD hijacks my mind. I feed bad about it but I will not let it get in the way of my optimal life. Here is how I am managing it so far. Let me know if you have any ideas 1. Medicine: I am taking Zoloft and Wellbutrin 2. Phytoestrogens: I am making sure to include foods high in phytoestrogens as well as lots of fruits and vegetables for anti inflammatory properties 3. I bought a red bracelet to wear in my window. This means my period protocol is on. I forget when I am in my window and my thoughts feel so real. My bracelet will remind me that my feelings don’t align with the facts. It will remind me I am in my window. I am still learning what my protocol will be but one of them is not to engage in controversial conversations or arguments. If I must bring something up, I’ll do it after my period. I may also plan more activities where I can be alone Obviously sleep, regular meals, journaling…etc 4. Support group: I joined a support group to keep me accountable 5. Therapy
