So, I'm playing around with some trace logging, and I've got UDT's being used to arrange data (pre-existed), in the following format:
R1_Side_A_Weld_Data.Robot1.Weld_1.WFS_Avg
R1_Side_A_Weld_Data.Robot1.Weld_1.Volts_Avg
R1_Side_A_Weld_Data.Robot1.Weld_1.Amps_Avg
R1_Side_A_Weld_Data.Robot1.Weld_1.Travel_Speed
R1_Side_A_Weld_Data.Robot1.Weld_1.ArcOn_Time
I'm interested in moving the data using a FOR loop based on the Weld Number, and I've used plenty of arrays and FOR loops in ladder, but the embedded data is making my life difficult in ladder. I want to be able to do:
R1_Side_A_Weld_Data.Robot1.[WELD_NUMBER].yada yada yada.... and use WELD_NUMBER as the FOR loop Index value. This isn't possible in ladder due to the embedding, but is this possible to do in ST?
