FactoryTalk View Visibility based on incorrect shortcut path to HMI - PLC?
Post Body

I've been toying with trying to figure out how to make my 'Goto Config Menu' button on the HMI visible if the Device Shortcut path is incorrect. I've had to explain to far too many customers that if they hide the button behind a PLC controlled maintenance login, they can't easily access the config menu to fix the problem if there is a connectivity issue. I've tried different functions with err_conn or what-not, and using a GSV on the PLC side doesn't seem to do what I want it to either. Anyone toyed with this and got something to work?
