In the course of my work I have numerous Fiber Profinet Rings that sometime require troubleshooting. Looking for some type of Fiber version of the Front Line Ethernet Network Tap. Fiber in and out, LC connectors (or SFP for different type connections) with a USB to laptop connection for power and data.
This is so I can use wireshark and various other tools to view and troubleshoot the network.
Anyone know of anything like this? I have searched until my eyes hurt and find nothing except those made for datacenters and such, big rack mount things. Yes, I have tried fiber to copper converters then the FTE device and it does not work properly, plus the converters require external power.
Thanks!
