Might have bricked a ProFace HMI…
Post Body

So went to dump a program in a GP2300 today. Never worked with a ProFace before. Got it connected via Ethernet. Did the transfer. Took about 10 minutes. Everything finished ok on my laptop, but the HMI immediately started beeping and the screen is black. I can’t get it to connect over Ethernet again and can’t bring up the offline setup screens anymore. The manual mentions being able to force a transfer, but the transfer utility I downloaded doesn’t have that option, and I don’t have the program to modify and work with the screen. Also not sure how to connect if the Ethernet seems to not be active… There is a com port programming option but I haven’t found a cable that will fit it. Grrrr. Worried I bricked it. Anyone have any advice?
