Distro shopping and looking for opinions
Post Body

So I gave the stock Manjaro KDE a go and it's just not my taste. I am curious what other people's experiences have been with other distros and what the range of support is for them.

Manjaro XFCE: I loaded this on an SD card and gave it a go but it looks to be incomplete as basic features like tap to click aren't even an option in the settings menu. And to be honest I was hoping to go to either Debian or Fedora.

Debian: I loaded this as well and it seems to work but I am concerned about support and I think I've read about kernel issues (correct me if I am wrong).

Fedora: Where I would like to be but it seems to not be there yet. The version on the wiki seems to be incomplete. For example in the instructions it says to open tweeks and turn off animations to improve performance. However the tweeks apps won't even open. It is also overall laggy (even taking into account being run off an SD card) From what I have read it looks like Fedora ARM isn't able to be loaded because of some kernel issues so this looks to be the only option.

To be clear I am greatly appreciative of all the work this community has put into these builds. This is a fantastic project that I am excited to be a part of. Unfortunately, I am not a programmer and am simply an old enthusiast trying to get involved in the community and figure out how I can contribute.

Thanks for reading!
