GPU + Monitor or GPU then monitor later on?
Post Body
Looking for opinions on this. Currently having a dilemma on if I:
- should get a 7700XT and a 1080p IPS gaming monitor (current monitor is an AOC 144hz curved VA panel)
Or
- 7800XT then upgrade to 1440p down the line. Was thinking of 7900 GRE but maybe the 3-4k difference should just go to the monitor
EDIT: or get a 7800XT and higher refresh rate 1080p monitor so I can get the most fps and maximize the refresh rate
EDIT: Current GPU is a 6 year old RX 5700. Only time I got under 60fps was CP2077 (Med settings) and Marvel Rivals (70-80fps on Low setting). Just thought I might as well upgrade this year
