BIOS update to earlier versions before updating to the latest version

Post Body

So I'm going to be getting a 5700X3D tomorrow coming from a 3600. I asked the store if they can do a BIOS update (since I've never done one before) but they said they don't do BIOS updates??? Anyways, I bought this mobo back in 2019 and the BIOS was updated (to F41) once this entire time, and that was when PCHub set up the PC.

My motherboard is the Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite and the current BIOS ver is F41 and the note says

Note: Before updating BIOS to this new version, you MUST follow the steps as detailed under BIOS F40 description.

F40 description

Note:

  1. If you are using Q-Flash Utility to update BIOS, make sure you have updated BIOS to F32 before F40
  2. Before update BIOS to F40, you have to install EC FW Update Tool (B19.0517.1 or later version) to avoid 4DIMM DDR incompatibility on 3rd Gen AMD Ryzenâ„¢ CPU.

How should I go about this? Can I just update straight to F66?
