Sorry I don't know where to post this so I'm trying it here.
Which laptop should I buy between Asus Vivobook 15 X1502ZA Vs Asus Vivobook 15 X1500EP? if I will be using it for school like programming, minimal gaming and minimal rendering.
Here are the specs for the two laptops:
Asus Vivobook 15X1502ZA Quick Specs: • Processor - Intel® Core™ i3-1220P • Graphics - Intel® UHD Graphics • Memory - 8GB DDR4 on board • Storage - 512GB M.2 NVMe™ PCIe® 3.0 SSD • Resolution - FHD (1920 x 1080) 16:9 aspect ratio • Panel size - 15.6-inch • Battery - 42WHrs, 3S1P, 3-cell Li-ion
Asus Vivobook 15 X1500EP Quick Specs: • Processor - Intel® Core™ i3-1115G4 • Graphics - NVIDIA® GeForce® MX330 • Memory - 8GB DDR4 SO-DIMM • Storage - 256GB M.2 NVMe™ PCIe® 3.0 SSD • Resolution - FHD (1920 x 1080) 16:9 aspect ratio • Panel size - 15.6-inch • Battery - 37WHrs, 2S1P, 2-cell Li-ion
At first I really liked the Asus 15 X1502ZA because of it's processor. It has 10 cores and 12 threads. But then the sales clerk from the Asus store recommended the Asus 15 X1500EP because he said it has better GPU if I want to do some programming and some minimal gaming and rendering.
But I'm still not convinced if I do want the other model? Because I read somewhere that more cores and threads the better for faster processing but the other model processor, the intel i3 1115G4 has 2 cores and 4 threads but this model has a dedicated GPU to help the lacking processor.
So should I pick the Asus 15 X1502ZA or the Asus 15 X1500EP?
Thanks in advanced for people who will help. Thanksss
PS. Idk if this is relevant but I'm an upcoming computer science student.
