Hello, I just want to hear your opinions on which shoes I should buy between Asics Novablast 4 and Brooks Ghost 16

  • On average, I run once a week, mileage of 10k, for 1 hr and 15 mins, based on my strava stats
  • I aim to ramp it up this 2024 to twice per week, 20k mileage, probably around 2 hours and 20 mins
  • I aim to finish a half marathon 3 hours at max
  • I have not done any gait analysis, but Im pretty sure Im not a heel striker. On a few of my runs I am forefoot-heavy but most of the time I think Im mostly midfoot. So I guess Im more of a midfoot-forefoot striker, and maybe heel striker once in a while when Im extra tired
  • Im also not sure about my pronation but I know I tend to have relaxed ankles and wrists to the point na naliliay ako minsan. Nothing serious that caused any injury that didnt get better within 3 days tho.
  • From my own research so far, the only thing I dont like about ghost 16 is its 12mm midsole drop. I have a tendency to over-lean forward from my hips and Im not sure if that drop will be helpful or make it worse. I like the reviews about its apparent durability tho, and its responsiveness and supportive cushioning. Novablast on the other hand feels like a good default all around shoe.

Also, optional question, Im planning to buy online and I found a novablast seller named "want jp Fitness" in Lazada, is that shop legit?

Thanks in advance
