Google Maps or Waze for going around Manila?

Hi I'll be starting to work on Ortigas and mag momotor lang ako to work every morning from Bulacan. Question ko lang in manila which one is better Google Maps or Waze? May nag sabi kase na Waze doesn't update as fast as Google maps specially if may mga road closure so kayo ano madalas nyo gamit if going around manila?

I don't really go to manila due to carmageddon ehehehe, and since di ako maalam sa pasikot sikot I'll be relying heavily on GPS apps di ko lang alam which one is better. Expressways or toll roads are not an issue for me I'll be on a Expressway legal motorcycle.
