Very excited to start ~responsibly~ building my credit history! Sharing my experience, in case it helps others here who are also planning to apply for RCBC's Hexagon Privilege CC.

Timeline: - December 27: opened an account with RCBC, made initial deposit to qualify for Hexagon Privilege (at least 100k) - December 28: visited BOA, confirmed Hexagon Privilege status, filled out some additional docs, received passbook. I informed my BOA that I would like to apply for the Hexagon Privilege CC and they confirmed that they would lodge an application. - December 29: received notification for debit card activation - January 12: went to BOA, received debit card and checkbook - January 15: called RCBC Credit via hotline, asked about application. Agent said that there was no application launched under my name or other identifiers. Agent also mentioned that branch might be processing CC application in batches, so best to follow up with them. - January 23: received a text from RCBC Credit, informing me that I've been assessed and approved for RCBC Hexagon Platinum Mastercard (free membership for life) to receive card in 16 days - January 30: CC delivered to my home address via AirSpeed. It came as a surprise because I never received a text about my CC being out for delivery or any sort of tracking number.

About me: 23 years old, 4 months tenure at my 2nd job, previously an employee at a digital bank. BOA is Lee - Shaw Blvd.
