Hey, I want to lessen my cards since some just overlap with each other and I would need help in which cards are the best to keep from what I have.
BPI Blue - this is my oldest card and I've been wnating to have a BPi Visa Sig and will just request an increased CL limit soon
Citi Simplicity - my 2nd oldest card. Should I keep it? My only reason to keep is it's NAFFL
CITI Rewards Visa - my 2nd most used card atm due to its shared credit limit with my citi simplicity which is the highest CL that I have. I am planning on cancelling this since it's not NAFFL and I got approved on UB Platinum Rewards CC and it has a higher CL Limit than my citi rewards visa
Eastwest Gold JCB - it's NAFFL and my only JCB card.
BDO Gold - i applied for an amex cashback and they also sent me this. and my mom encouraged me to activate it. Kind of regret it though since i still havent used this card and I see no reason to use it but reading some past threads in this subreddit says that BDO has great promo deals.
BDO Amex Cashback- i buy in amazon and overseas so this is my main reason why i applied to get this card.
HSBC Platinum Visa- I wanted the Gold one but they sent me this. Again, it kind if coincides with some of my CCs. I'm not sure if it's worth to keep. I use this for groceries and pay my monthly subscriptions
Metrobank Titanium- my only reason i got one was because of that Lazada 50% off voucher (max 7500php off) promo they had. It has the lowest CL out of all my cards which isn't a problem because it makes it good for online shopping it gets compromised.
RCBC Flex Gold Visa- only reason i got this is because of the Unli installment scheme of rcbc and this is the cc they gave me
So, the cards that I am currently thinking of cancelling are CITI Rewards Visa, BDO Gold, HSBC Plat, Metrobank bank Titanium, and RCBC Flex Gild Visa.
Are there any reasons to keep this certain card or more reasons to cancel them?
Thank you
