Refunded transaction bigger than current statement, do I still pay min. amount due?

Post Body

Hi! Recently got refunded for accommodation charges (accom. couldn’t host us due to unforseen circumstances; Booking(.)com refunded us the full amount). Since the booking was made with my CC months ago (and paid in full during the statement month it was under), my credit card bill for the past month was covered by the refund. BPI app already reflects the updated balance (let’s say my bill for the past month was 5k, the refund was 6k—the charges following my current month’s statement yung aapektuhan), but the app still shows that I haven’t made a payment for the current statement (which technically speaking, I haven’t, unless you count transposing my previous payment months ago when the reversed charge was due).

My question is: do I still need to pay the minimum amount due (PHP850) or do I just leave it as is? Would I be charged interest on the current statement if I do? Thanks in advance!
