Would watching the Persona 3 movies give me the full main story of the game?

I played through both P5 and P4 and I loved them, however, I started playing P3 and besides the fact that I'm working now so I don't have as much time, I don't particularly like the gameplay for P3 since I'm so "spoiled" by the later entries.
I still want to know the story since I thought it was interesting. Are the movies a good way to experience the main story?
