I deleted my last post about Ren and Futaba because people found issue with it.

My question is this: the game is about a 17/18 year old character, fighting supernatural evils and attending school. Ren has his own personality (as much as you want to deny it the manga and anime provide him a character) and is therefore able to date whoever he wants.

Why do people go out of their way to avoid dating others in the game, or especially Futaba who by the end of the game is 16. (Birthday in Feb 19th)

I understand the issue with Ken as he’s still a literal child. But no one bats an eye at Yu and Rise or Naoto in persona 4 (both of whom share the same age difference as Ren and Futaba)

Like someone explain the issue here to me. I’m not dating Futaba, Rise or Naoto. Ren/Yu respectively are.

Edit: another option is also the same age difference and people love that coupling…
