I have a 6 year old whom I suspect is PDA. Bed time is by far THE HARDESTS part of the day! He wants everyone to go to bed when he does, which isn't realistic so we've changed some things. Like my husband and older son go out into the yurt to hang out so my 6 year old and I can have less distractions when it comes to bed time. I can give him more one on one co-regulation and it seems fine until its time to get into bed. He seems to get aimpt when it's time for bed, which is super frustrating for everyone.
So, for those who are also PDA, does bedtime feel like a demand? What kinds of things help?
