the old memory was ryzen 2x4gb pc4 2666 hz

the new memory is CORSAIR Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16 LED 3200hz

Story

He has had problems with games running at their highest FPS I suggested changing the ram and upgrading to a higher speed RAM as well as upgrading capacity so he bought the corsair stick in order to do so. he then put in the ram and changed the speed in bios to the speed of his ram from auto, this immediately blue screed his PC. He booted up the pc to see what was wrong the computer said that windows had trouble booting, the computer then tried to repair windows for 5 minutes, after which the speed of the ram went down and it could not load anything except for discord, and steam.

he put back in the old ram and freshly installed chrome and now it works although with the ram speed set to auto it is at a slower than usually speed

we fixed the issue by just lowering the speed of the ram to lower then what it is rated
