Metformin PCOS Diary. (I only had 1 meal already)
Post Body

Weight: 100% . Goal weight loss to: 73%

I’ll be posting them in this thread.

Week 1 on Metformin. I’m making sure to do everything right, I take it with meals, got the ER version and have a glass of water nearby for any nausea. Started taking Thursday, I missed the weekend as I forgot it at home, yikes. (Increased eating and cravings experienced, but I think that was a psychological goodbye to sweet foods)

No sign of abhorrent diarrhoea but there has been an increase in bowel movements.

I use concerta during the week (with a really bad concerta crash at 4pm) and it does decrease my appetite, I’d normally skip breakfast & eat at lunch. Now I didn’t eat till 6pm (I had a small protein sludge in the morning), I did get hungry during the day but I pushed through. When I did eat, I left some food behind. Im happy about that.

Around the same happened yesterday but I was extremely weak at 4pm, even after having oats for breakfast.

It’s also cause it’s broke week so there’s not much variety to eat anyhow.

Not too bad overall. I don’t really want to fast as heavily as I have but I’d like to eat less and maybe handle going into keto mode at some point in all of this.

Other weird symptoms, it feels like my vaginal lining is shedding or tightening, it’s weird, just randomly feeling swollen.

My energy is back to a good high again, I feel ambitious.
